The $75 on-site design consultation happens before anything is mounted, so the plan for speaker placement, calibration and HDMI routing is built around the room you actually have, not a generic layout. From there it is placement, then calibration, then routing the HDMI chain so every source hands off cleanly to the display and the sound system.
The last step is programming one remote to run the whole chain, so the household is not juggling three handsets to watch one movie. Laslar Tech Installs works with Sonance, Denon, Sonos, Control4 and Savant gear as part of this service.

The Household Runs It Before We Leave
A theater install is not finished when the gear is calibrated. The household drives the system once themselves, in front of the installer, before anyone packs up, so the first time anyone presses the remote alone is not the first time it has ever been used.
