The Fixture Is an Electrical Question First
A floodlight cam isn’t just a camera bolted where a porch light used to be. Plenty of the existing floodlight boxes we find on Middle Georgia homes were rated for a bulb and nothing heavier, so the wiring behind them has to be checked before a camera and its electronics go on that same circuit.
